Every price, upfront.
Every job shows two figures: the full price with parts, and the labour-only price. Both are starting prices — the labour figure covers the time a typical job takes, so if your vehicle makes it run longer it rises to match, and parts cost what your vehicle needs. We confirm the exact numbers before we begin. Prefer to buy the parts yourself? That is fine, and you pay the labour column only.

For most jobs, no. Leave the keys somewhere we can reach them and note it in your booking — plenty of our work happens in office car parks while the owner is in a meeting. We do need you present for diagnostics, since we may want to hear the symptom, and for anything where the price could change.
Anything needing a two-post lift, a wheel alignment rig, a tyre mounting machine, or the engine and transmission out. Heavy exhaust and major internal engine work also belong in a shop. We'll tell you honestly before you book rather than turn up and shrug — and we'll recommend a shop we'd use ourselves.
Usually less. We don't pay for a building, a waiting room or a service advisor, and those costs are baked into a dealership's hourly rate. There's no call-out fee either. The prices on our table are starting figures — the parts element moves with your vehicle, and we confirm the exact number before we begin.
Yes — every job on our pricing table lists the labour-only figure beside the full price, so you know exactly what you'd pay. Mention it in the booking notes and we'll bring the tools, not the parts. The one catch is the warranty: our labour is still covered for 12 months, but the 6-month parts warranty only applies to parts we supply. If the part turns out to be wrong for your vehicle, the visit is still billable.
Our labour is guaranteed for 12 months or 12,000 miles, whichever comes first. Parts we supply are covered for 6 months. If either fails inside its window, we come back out and put it right at no charge to you. Parts you bought yourself aren't covered by us — take those up with whoever sold them — but our labour fitting them is still guaranteed.
We work through most Chicago weather with a canopy, and a garage or covered car park is ideal if you have one. In genuinely unsafe conditions — ice storms, lightning, heavy snow — we call you the day before and move the appointment at no cost.
Card, Apple Pay, Zelle or cash, taken on site when the work is finished. Nothing is charged when you book — the appointment just holds the window. An itemised receipt is emailed straight after.
Call (773) 397-0433 with your booking reference. Twelve hours' notice and there's no charge at all. Less than that and we may ask for a $40 contribution towards the parts we already picked up for you.
Yes — vans, box trucks and company cars, serviced at your yard so nothing leaves the site. Three vehicles or more gets volume pricing and a standing monthly slot. Email [email protected] with your fleet list and we'll put a schedule together.
